Change

The dictionary defines change as such: make or become different.

It doesn't say that change is bad or wrong. It should say that change can be scary and tests your patience as you try to get used to it. For me, it is necessary. As my family grows (can you believe Allee is 14 now?? Addison turned 11 and Alex 7!), I must adapt. My kids are involved in so many activities. Allee is checking out what all the high school has to offer as well as dancing. She will again this season be doing competition dance, a solo! I am so excited to see this dance! She has joined the FFA, FCA, student council, and the colorguard in the marching band. Addison tried soccer again, I think she has decided it is NOT for her. She is a part of a trio that will be doing competition dance this season as well. She took singing lessons this summer and loved every minute of it! She will continue those through the school year.  Alex loves his sports:hockey, baseball, and soccer. He tried out and made the Danville Fury U8 traveling baseball team for this spring. He is super pumped! Hockey started up again this week as well. It is so awesome to watch him on the ice!If Aaron and I aren't shuttling someone to practice, or coaching, you will find us on the sidelines, in the stands or the audience, cheering for our little peoples. I tend to cheer very LOUDLY, so you might now want to sit by me.

 That being said, 2018 will bring some big changes.

As much as it saddens me, I will be closing my studio in Milford.. That's been my home away from home for almost 3 years. I love it there.. Colleen is so inspiring! I am so glad that I got to meet this amazing woman. The things she is accomplishing are breathtaking! I need to downsize and restructure my photography business. What does that mean for you? Well, nothing too crazy! I will still have a studio, just a little smaller. I will finally get to share a space with my sister. Something I have dreamed of for a long time. We are still working out the details on all of that.

I guess that's all I wanted to share with you for now. Now that the leaves are changing, don't you think it's time we scheduled your session?
